Make My First Sale

What does it mean to launch a business?

Ask ten different people what it means to “launch” a business, and you’ll probably get ten different answers. At Sky’s the Limit, we believe there is only one question that matters when deciding whether a business has launched or not — did you make your first sale? If you’ve had at least one paying customer, then congratulations! Consider yourself launched! 🚀

If you aren’t there yet, no worries. You can use our “Make My First Sale” guide to cover all the important steps to getting your first paying customer and officially start your startup. This guide is meant to be done in four sessions (or “meetings” if you’re working with a mentor or friend).

Click through the Make My First Sale project template for tips and tools that will help you:

  • Identify your goals, motivations, and existing resources.

  • Identify your target customers

  • Test your idea with potential customers and refine your idea

  • And, make your first sale!
